Wayatinah Lakeside Caravan Park is located in Tasmania’s central highlands between Ouse and Tarraleah. The park is situated beside Wayatinah Lagoon and surrounded by native bush on three sides. It has 50 campsites and 12 powered sites.
Wayatinah Lagoon offers good fishing and boating, with boat launching, picnic, and barbecue facilities.
Platypus and waterbirds abound in the lake beside this peaceful highland caravan park. Other wildlife often emerge from the bush. Wildflowers make a lovely display in spring and summer.
It might be far from anywhere in this hydro-electric village, but there is a heated swimming pool and children’s pool, a tennis court, football oval and cricket pitch. Nearby you’ll find a golf course, squash courts, tavern and poolroom.
Showers are AUD1 and washing machine averages AUD1.50.
Powered site family rate is AUD20 maximum and campsite family rate is AUD15 maximum.
