Tullah Lakeside Lodge is situated on the banks of the beautiful Lake Rosebery on the West Coast of Tasmania. Located approximately 1 hour from Cradle Mountain, Strahan and Queenstown the Tullah Lakeside Lodge is definitely the most central place to stay on your trip to the West Coast of Tasmania.
Tullah Lakeside Lodge was first built as part of the the Tullah Village for the Hydro in the 1970’s. From there it has been sold a couple of times to different people to run as backpackers accommodation, motel etc. The current Tasmanian owners have had the business since late 2009 and have made a lot of changes in and around the Lodge, from beautifying and installing gardens, renovating rooms to even building a new function centre overlooking the lake.
The restaurant has fantastic alfresco dining overlooking the lake and is open 7 days a week for breakfast lunch and dinner.
The Cafe serves amazing Coffee and undoubtedly holds the reputation for the best scones on the West Coast if not Australia!
Tullah Lakeside Lodge is like a home away from home with the log fires going in the winter and the friendly and accommodating staff to see to your needs.
Feel free to just call in and have a look at the lake when you are passing through or enquire about our rooms if you want to stay the night. Either way the Lodge is a place that you are sure to remember for a very long time.
