On Cameron Street, in the picturesque town of Launceston, is The Northern Club. The building’s decor has elements of the old-school, with a raw brick facade and white linen covered tablecloths, however live bands are a frequent feature. The al a carte menu is a comforting make up of dishes such as huon valley mushroom risotto with Yorktown herbs, and scallop dumplings in aromatic duck broth with shitake, coriander, chilli and mandarin.
