The Port Sorell Golf Club is located at Shearwater, on Tasmania’s central north coast. Shearwater is a 20-minute drive east of Devonport (19 kilometres) and an hour and 20 minutes north west of Launceston (111 kilometres).
Built around the Shearwater Country Club, the nine-hole Port Sorell Golf Club is a well-maintained, private course with views of the ocean. Available to club members and guests of the Shearwater Country Club, the Port Sorell Golf Club has a fully-stocked Pro-shop, and club hire is available. After your round, you can enjoy a drink or tasty meal in the Country Club at Beaches Bar and Bistro or The Dunes al fresco dining and entertainment area.
Port Sorell is a place to relax. You can swim at a number of beaches near the course, cycle along the esplanade, go boating or take a drive to nearby Devonport to play a round at the 18-hole Devonport Golf Club, home of the annual Tasmanian Open Golf Championships.
