Low Head Tourist Park

Low Head Tourist Park provides comfortable camping and cabin accommodation in George Town, northern Tasmania.
The 12 large self-contained park cottages are ideal for two to six people. Each cottage is appointed with queen-size beds, air conditioning, a large bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Tamar River. The six economy cabins are two to five berth with double beds and also have air conditioning, cooking and bathroom facilities. Low Head Tourist Park has powered, un-powered and en suite sites, an amenities block, disabled facilities, camp kitchen and laundry. Caravans, motor homes, campervans and campers are all catered for. All sites have a view of the Tamar River. The park is just minutes from a wide variety of interesting attractions.
Wander the beaches and visit Low Head Lighthouse, the Maritime Museum and Pilot Station and walk through historic George Town. Drive the wine route and perhaps stop for lunch at Pipers Brook Vineyard. Take to the water for a fishing or dive charter or visit Seahorse World and Platypus House.
George Town is about 40-minutes’ drive (51 kilometres/32 miles) north of Launceston.
