The Jolly Painter Accommodation at Mountford Granary Studio can be hired by arrangement. The delightful studio has beautiful pastoral views, is heritage registered, and enjoys a panoramic view of the homestead and Great Western Tiers.
Once known as The Married Quarters, the Jolly Painter is just a short walk into the homestead garden, where you have your own private front door, bathroom facilities and kitchenette.
A cosy kitchen with full breakfast supplies is inclusive and evening meals can be arranged. Partake in the ambience of the old stable, olives, and morning reverie with the sounds and flavours of nature.
Mountford estate is situated in a district steeped in cultural history including famous artists such as Tom Roberts, Mundy, Prout and Simpkinson de Wesseslow. Feel welcome to rediscover the remnant tracks of the Longford International Motor Racing Circuit. For five generations the Mackinnons have inhabited and worked this colonial estate which welcomes you to paint and share a lifestyle.
Longford is about 20-minutes’ drive (27 kilometres/17 miles) from Launceston.
