Swansea House offers beautiful self-contained accommodation in the heart of Swansea on Tasmania’s east coast.
Three bedrooms accommodate up to eight guests with two queen-size beds and a third bedroom with two single beds, a trundle and additional mattress. Stunning views and amazing light are two of the hallmarks of this house. It is set on half an acre with a rambling garden, hedges, lawn and fruit trees. Enjoy the outdoor ambience lounging on the deck and enjoying a barbecue. The meals area is bright and sunny and the kitchen well equipped. By day the living room is flooded with natural light and has views of the Hazards in the distance. By night, the room is warmed by the glow of a wood fire.
In Swansea, there are delicious cafes and excellent restaurants if you don’t want to cook. Visit Kate’s Berry farm for scones or homemade ice-cream. Visit world heritage listed Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park, the Friendly Beaches and the Bay of Fires. In Bicheno, you can walk along-side the penguins as they come back to shore.
