Highland Caravan Park

The Highland Caravan Park is situated on the halfway point of the Hobart to Strahan touring route.
It has 20 powered sites and ten unpowered tent sites. There are drive through sites with power, water. Grassed tent sites are located within parkland, with a large camp kitchen, dining area, barbecue and laundry. There are also ample toilets and showers with hot water.
The Highlander Restaurant with it’s local beers and home cooking is within sight. Teez Cafe is great for coffee and its outstanding breakfast is only a four minute walk away.
Internet, telephone, clothing, fishing supplies, chocolate and Tasmanian craft are all available at the Highland Store.
Endless activities include secret lake kayaking, spa house, waterfall walks and mountain biking. Help feed the highland cattle and go fishing with Australia’s best guides or just get pointed in the right direction. Guests can enjoy golf, squash or even use the gymnasium.
You can also spot platypus, Tasmanian devils, wombats and quolls plus over 80 bird species all on the 300 acre Estate.
Staying at the Highland Caravan Park is great for families, children and touring couples.
Tarraleah is around a two-hour drive (127 kilometres/79 miles) north-west of Hobart.
