Glasgow Lodge has 12 self-contained units conveniently located in the heart of Devonport, Tasmania. Glasgow Lodge units are in a quiet residential area but close to shops. They are fully equipped, self-contained two bedroom units with queen-sized bed in one room and a set of bunks and a single bed in the other.
Each has a television, washing machine, refrigerator, heaters, undercover parking, ground level access. They are pleasantly comfortable, with modern furniture and attractive furnishings. The units are cheerfully full of natural light.
It’s a short walk to the local football oval, hockey fields, tennis courts, a seven kilometre cycle track, night and day pacing and greyhound meetings, hotels and restaurants. There’s also a scenic walk to rivers and beaches. It’s an easy drive to the wilderness of Cradle Mountain, Lake Barrington, where you can paddle a canoe, Mole Creek Wildlife Park and caves, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Caves. Walk, swim, fish, spot the birds and animals, have picnics.
At the end of each active day you’ll return tired and happy to the comfort of your Glasgow Lodge unit – quick hot shower, launder today’s clothes, prepare a barbecue and then a long summer evening for resting and relaxing.
