The Lodge is a charming New England house set in lovely gardens in a quiet area of New Norfolk.
The self-catering section consists of a one-bedroom ensuite unit for two or three people. Also available is a two-bedroom unit with two bathrooms, ideal for four people. Both options have a washing machine, kitchenette, and sitting room with television and DVD player. The balcony, with private barbecue, overlooks the garden and the hills beyond. Light breakfast provisions are included for the first morning.
The bed and breakfast accommodation consists of four ensuite bedrooms, three with queen beds and one with twin beds. A private lounge, sunroom and separate dining room are available for guests. Barbecue facilities are located near the swimming pool.
Tariff includes a substantial continental breakfast. A cooked breakfast is available at an extra charge. Internet access is available.
Attractions include the historic buildings of New Norfolk and many antique shops. The Derwent River promenade is a favourite walk. Nearby are the Salmon Ponds, Redlands Estate, beautiful Mount Field National Park, and MONA is only a 20-minute drive.
