The Chocolate Winterfest is coming up and it’s going to be delicious! Situated in Latrobe, just a 10 minute drive from Devonport the premise is delightfully simple, it’s about celebrating all things chocolate.
Warm up with a creamy hot chocolate, winter is here and the perfect way to escape the cold is with a warming cup of beautiful.
Indulge in events and celebrations of Chocolate. Home of the House of Anvers, Latrobe is well known for it’s magnificent chocolate.
Mould, decorate, drink, marvel and of course taste chocolate in all it’s forms and permutations.
It’s not just about the chocolate of course, meet passionate local shop owners and characters and taste some great local produce.
Join in the lantern making fun or build a long exposure photo with a candle in the night. There’s live music from local musicians and whimsical costumes to check out as well.
Don’t forget the fantastic ‘blind chocolate’ feeding competitions! Jump in a poncho (it does get deliciously messy!) and don your blindfold with a partner as you both try and feed each other chocolate ice cream.
The festival has been scintillating taste-buds since 2004 and this year will be no different!
