Blue Waters

Blue Waters offers a range of accommodation at the gateway to Tasmania’s east coast. It overlooks the Prosser River and one of many white sandy beaches, and it’s an hour from Hobart.
Magnificent scenery, beach walks, sun and sand, the east coast has them all.
Blue Waters has a fully licensed 120-seat waterfront restaurant. The menu features fresh regional produce, and an excellent range of local and imported wines. Children are well catered for.
Newly stylishly furnished motel units have ground floor parking at your door. Three styles of accommodation are available, all spacious with tea and coffee making facilities, some feature stunning ocean views, private balconies and queen size beds.
You may enjoy fishing, boating, horse riding, golf, bowls and cafes, or visit the beautiful and historic Maria Island National Park where Tasmania’s first penal colony was established. The old convict built road (no longer used) to Hobart follows the hillsides and ravines along the Prosser River, or explore the nearby Wielangta Rainforest Reserve, Thumbs Lookout or the Sandspit Forest Reserve.
Orford is an ideal base to explore the east coast and the south-east region, including Port Arthur, historic Richmond and the Freycinet National Park.
