White Beach Cottage is a waterfront three bedroom fully self-contained cottage over looking Wedge Bay. Located just ten minutes drive from historic Port Arthur. The cottage features two queen size bedrooms, and one with two single beds. There are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room.
White Beach Cottage is well situated as a base for exploring the whole peninsula. Local attractions nearby include historic sites at Port Arthur, Saltwater River, and Eaglehawk Neck. Children will also enjoy the Tasmania Devil Park and the chocolate factory at Taranna.
The Tasman Peninsula offers some of Australia’s most awe inspiring yet accessible scenery, magnificent cliffs, beaches and coastal formations – the Blowhole, Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen, Tessellated Pavement, Remarkable Cave, along with the numerous stunning lookouts around the region. For those who enjoy the beach there are two excellent surfing beaches nearby as well as White Beach itself, which is recommended for small children.
A wide range of flora and fauna offer the nature enthusiast many diverse experiences, with a variety of bushwalks.
The township of Nubeena is a five-minute drive away and has all you need for supplies. There are several excellent restaurants all near to the cottage.
