Winnaleah Hotel is an historic pub offering comfortable accommodation at Winnaleah in Tasmania’s north-east.
Enjoy comfortable accommodation with single, twin and double rooms available. The hotel also offers hearty pub meals in a cosy atmosphere. Visit Blue Lake, climb Cube Rock or play golf nearby. Fossick for gemstones amongst the many interesting geological formations in the Gladstone-Mt Cameron area.
The property is close to Derby, where the new Derby bike tracks are located.
You won’t see many people in this remote corner except for hardy souls camping rough at popular fishing spots and by the brilliant white beaches. The gravel roads over much of this remote corner tend to deter all but the locals, but the slower travel gives you a chance to spot the abundant wildlife. Keep a look out, especially along the quiet roads in Mount William National Park, where wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and pademelons graze peacefully.
Winnaleah is approximately a one-hour-and-20-minute drive (103 kilometres/64 miles) from Launceston.
