Mt William Holiday Park is located in the peaceful town of Gladstone, northeast Tasmania.
The Park offers comfortable, clean accommodation close to Mt William National Park and the superb northern section of the Bay of Fires on Tasmania’s east coast.
Large groups up to 50, families, couples and singles are catered for, with a choice of self-contained or shared facilities.
Shared facilities include guest lounge, large undercover barbecue area with wood-fired pizza oven, self-catering breakfast bar and laundry. Groups also have access to full onsite catering, a large dining area and in-house cinema if desired – all by arrangement.
The National Park is teeming with native wildlife, including a number of rare and endangered species. The region includes two wetland systems of international significance.
The coastal areas are some of the most stunning in Tasmania, with pure white sands, azure water, and brightly coloured lichen covered rocks. Many of these locations can often be enjoyed with no-one else present.
Other popular activities include coastal and inland fishing, gemstone fossicking, and visiting such sites as Blue Lakes, Eddystone Lighthouse, Cube Rock, and the abandoned Dorset Dredge.
Gladstone is around one hour 45 minutes’ drive (127 kilometres/79 miles) northwest of Launceston.
