Hobart accommodation at Bendalls is in an 1840s heritage listed home with bed and breakfast accommodation plus self contained features.
Two large self-contained ground floor rooms, with queen or twin beds, are furnished in simple colonial style with 19th and 20th century furniture and collectables. Each room has comfortable beds with crisp white linen, a dining area, sink, crockery/cutlery, leaf tea and plunger coffee. The large traditional Victorian bathroom has a claw-foot bath and separate toilet. Breakfast is fresh daily with delicious Tasmanian jams, preserves, artisan breads, cereals, eggs, fruit and juice.
Proximity to main road makes it easy for day trips to many of southern Tasmania’s attractions including Port Arthur and Mt Field National Park, and the airport is only 20 minutes away.
Bendalls is located in New Town with easy parking, a short walk to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, and is only three kilometres from the centre of Hobart.
The large veranda provides good views of Mt Wellington and the organic garden supplies all breakfast fruit.
