The old convict built road (no longer used) to Hobart follows the hillsides and ravines along the Prosser River, or explore the nearby Wielangta Rainforest Reserve, Thumbs Lookout or the Sandspit Forest Reserve.
Orford is an ideal base to explore the east coast and the south-east region, including Port Arthur, historic Richmond and the Freycinet National Park.
