Glendalough provides Edwardian-style bed and breakfast accommodation in the northern town of Deloraine, Tasmania.
There is a fully self-contained studio with two double bedrooms or a choice to stay in the master bedroom of the main house. This bedroom is appointed with beautiful antique furniture with a double bedroom adjacent if required. Both accommodation options are light and airy with panoramic views. The majority of beds are queen size with children’s single beds available. The studio contains a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue area and wheelchair access.
Built around 1899, Glendalough is set in three acres of old established gardens. It is centrally located in Deloraine, overlooking the river and bridge. Wander down to the town centre or plan a bushwalk in the Western Tiers mountain range. With Quamby Bluff as its landmark, Deloraine is the ideal central town from which to explore the northern half of Tasmania. With prior arrangement, plan a dinner party for you and your guests. Tasmanian fine foods such as seafood, beef and game accompanied by premium Tasmanian wine can be organised.
Deloraine is a 35-minute drive west of Launceston (48 kilometres/29 miles).
