The Golden Gate Gallery exhibits and sells artwork and is located at Mathinna, on Tasmania’s East-Coast.
The Golden Gate Gallery provides a unique outlet for Tasmanian artists to exhibit and sell their work. Mathinna is a small town with stunning views of Ben Lomond and a rich gold mining history. At The Golden Gate Gallery we offer an insight into Mathinna’s colourful history, and promote the quality artwork of a variety of talented Tasmanian artists and craftspeople. Original paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, sculpture, woodwork, textiles, jewellery, gifts, souvenirs, quality cards and more are available to purchase.
Take a day trip to Mathinna, come and see us at the gallery and also visit The Mathinna Falls and the spectacular Evercreech Forest Reserve. See some of the tallest white gums in the world, and take the walking track through magnificent ancient rainforest.
The Golden Gate Gallery is staffed by a friendly group of volunteers, and is well worth the trip to experience this unique slice of Tasmanian art and history. Proudly supporting Tasmanian artists, and supported by Break O’ Day Regional Arts.
Mathinna is a one hour and 44 minute drive (134 Kilometre / 83 miles) East of Launceston.
