The Apple Shed is a Museum, Ciderhouse and Cafe, showcasing the best of local product.
In the rustic surrounds of an original apple shed built in 1942, learn about the Huon regions fascinating apple heritage told through the eyes of Willie Smith, the founder of William Smith and Sons Orchards. Wander around the museum, take a walk around our heritage apple trees, or just sample some of our delicious ciders. At The Apple Shed, we believe the best tasting food is local, seasonal and sustainable. We have created a simple menu that showcases produce from the most passionate farmers, growers and makers who, like us, understand that good things take time and who share our belief in creating great tasting products by using great quality ingredients.
