You should reserve 26 July in your diary because this year the Devonport Jazz Festival will kick off with ‘Street Eats’ in Edward Street carpark, combining great eats with delectable sounds from local artists.
The Festival will host the very best Australian and Tasmanian jazz musicians, together with international jazz collaborations and emerging artists.
Now in it’s 17th year, the Jazz Festival has always drawn impressive interest with headlining acts such as James Morrison, Monica Trapaga, Vince Jones, The Idea of North, Kate Ceberano, Emma Pask, Rhonda Burchmore and Grace Knight.
The Festival will take place in a variety of venues across the city, from the Devonport Entertainment Centre, to arts venues, cafes, restaurants, pubs, churches and community halls.
A Festival Pass offers great value – 15 events for $89 though if you just want to check out one or two things, individual tickets are also available.
